Last night on Love & Hip Hop: New York, Richie Dollaz couldn’t wait to tell someone, anyone about his recent traipse with singer Anais. And who else would he inform but a co-member of the former Creep Squad collective, DJ Self? Seems like one of the major requirements of being Creep Squad is the ability to kiss and tell but we digress. He gossips with Self, detailing that evening in the hotel — which only happened because Anais slid in his DMs, reportedly — and the rest is “Richie D history,” he says (is that a thing?).
Self of all people, acts as his moral compass here, checking him on the fact that ol’ girl is married. Richie stops him, saying that she’s divorced or separated, one of the two, but he saw that she had the ring on her finger. She claimed it was “just decoration,” but she had her ring on. Also, Rich’s frat brother Navarro will likely have a real problem with this budding relationship. Because it’s supposed to be work.

Lil Mo tells Remy about Carl’s lies and she invites her to her boutique opening in NC. Her first response is what Carl will say if she just takes off. Girl.
Anyway, Carl ends up popping up at the event — way down in NC.
He says he wants to ensure that their marriage is intact and was hoping to show her that he was willing to do what it takes by making the drive down. Carl manages to get a smile out of Mo but she informs him that she would be following him from obligation to obligation, here on out. “It be bitches there! For all the wrong reasons…” Uh… Not sure this is the way to do it but aiight girl.
Yandy breaks off her business relationship with Bianca which is sort of awkward to watch because honestly both women have a few points. Bianca ends up dissolving into frustrated sobs, one of only a few authentic [seeming] moments in the franchise’s history but you know someone is going to end up throwing it in the poor girl’s face on the reunion. “They just don’t understand,” she cries. “I don’t get no money. I don’t have no money. Every dime I get goes to bills or school. I bust my ass and I just wanna be great.”
But that attitude B. Yandy ain’t wrong for telling her what everyone else has tried to previously: She has to get that attitude under control in order to flourish. Harlem upbringing or not. Speaking of Uptown though, Bianca brings up a great point about being held to a double standard. She notes that she’s from the same streets and has the same ra-ra temperment as many of the men Yandy has managed in the past, but she’s being punished for it. Eh. Can’t front, it does seem like Yandy threw her under the bus here, but in the same breath, the Dipset era was a different time, for hip hop and for Yandy who was fresh on the scene at the time, so… Either way, your manager is supposed to make you money and um…
Rich meets with Navarro later to get in front of the Anais situation, at least he’s being responsible this time, somewhat.
But Navarro had his father’s recent ailment on his mind, sharing the details of his diabetic history and the two men have a moment. Richie decides to hold back on the petty Anais info for now.
Anais and Jonathan manage to meet up and make up after he admits to putting his career before their friendship. “I was such a bad friend to you and I’m so sorry,” he says, sniffling. Anais cries along with him and her forehead vein reappears for awhile until they calm down and dish about recent love interests. Anais tells Jonathan about Richie D and he promptly warns her about his well-known ways.
In other news, Jaquae knows what to do with his money. Outside of his features, studio work and whatnot, he appears to have a restaurant in the making. Bianca meets him to talk about his girlfriend and her ways when she walks in. Sophia commences to talking spicy about Mariahlynn at the video shoot and B is visibly pissed. Surprisingly, she doesn’t go off in the girl’s mouth right then, she holds it together and leaves the vicinity. There may be hope for you yet, young Bianca.

Jaquae is fed up and tells Sophia to “figure it out” with a substantial amount of bass in his voice. We approve.
Later, Sophia meets up with James R, who she knows has “a thing” for her, he gifts her with a dog and she accepts it. With a whole boyfriend at the crib. BTW, how in the hell does James know the exact dog Sophia has “always wanted”? Lurking.
Anyway, Jaquae tosses her and the dog out when she gets back to the house. And rightfully so. Shenanigans.
Fall through next week and we’ll continue the discussion about where these NYC kids are headed in life.
