A judge in South Florida has ordered a man to be held without bond after appearing in court on an attempted murder charge.

Although the crime itself does not necessarily warrant the “no bond” decision, what the man spewed at the judge definitely did not help his case.

According to Florida’s CBS News 4, Juan Rodriguez was standing before Circuit Court Judge Beatrice Butchko when he demanded to be released from jail for Rosh Hashanah which began last Wednesday night on grounds that he is Jewish.

After the judge ignored his request, Rodriguez’s next statement left the courtroom in awe.

“Listen to me. If you don’t get me out of here, I’m going to f**king  kill you,” Rodriguez shouted. “ I’m a Jew. I’m going to f**king  take your life if you don’t let me out of here. Okay, I’m done. The Rabbi is cooking.”

In the event that the judge didn’t hear him the first time, Rodriguez blurted out the threat again.

“What do you want? What’s your pleasure? What do you want from me?” Rodriguez shouted. “What’s your phone number? If you don’t let me out of here, I’m going to f**king  kill you.”

The judge ruled that Rodriguez be held without bond on the first-degree attempted murder charge which means he won’t be getting out of jail for Rosh Hashanah.

According to published reports, Rodriguez’ violent outburst came during his arraignment on attempted murder charges stemming from the stabbing of a nurse’s assistant in the back at the Grand Court Lakes Assisted Living Community in North Miami on Tuesday.

The nursing assistant, Nadine Morris, was hospitalized, is now in good condition and did not want to talk to press.

Miami-Dade Police say Rodriguez thought she had been stealing.
