President Jimmy Carter Admitted To Hospital
Former President Jimmy Carter was transported to a hospital today after complaining of stomach pains.
The 85-year-old was a passenger on a plane to Cleveland Tuesday and was rushed off by rescue crews after landing.
The diplomat who turns 86 on Friday was taken to MetroHealth Hospital, where the Carter Center says he is resting comfortably.
He is believed to only have an upset stomach.
He was scheduled to appear Tuesday for a book signing but will resume his book tour next week.
