A California night club is suing a company claiming to represent Snoop Dogg, after paying money for a show that Snoop Dogg never showed up to.
The company named One Blood/Red Eye Entertainment approached El Potrero Night Club and represented itself as an agency that was dealing with Snoop’s concerts.
According to the lawsuit documents, around August 27th, Potrero wired $20,000 dollars and signed a contract booking Snoop for a show.
It was when the nightclub tried to promote the club on the radio station Power 106, that reps for Power 106 questioned the date and told Potrero that the contracts the club had signed were fake.
Despite the warnings, the documents reveal that on September 15th, Potrero night club sent the remaining $20,000 to book the rapper.
On the day of the scheduled performance, a representative from Redeye said that not only would Snoop Dogg not perform at the club that night, but was currently not even in the city.
Potrero night club is now suing Redeye for $100,000 dollars, for Breach of Contract, fees and expenses, and lost profits.
Although the controversy surrounds Snoop himself, Snoop’s name is never mentioned in the lawsuit documents, and legal actions will only be between the booking agency and the nightclub,
