Talib Kweli is planning to release his latest studio album Gutter Rainbows and revealing details on the new project.

Reps for Kweli confirm that the Brooklyn emcee got inspiration for the album’s unusual name through his childhood where he “saw gutters that ran with dirt, oil and water, revealing a shimmering rainbow to his child’s eyes.”
