Legendary Wrestler Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage Dies In Florida Car Accident

Former World Wrestling Federation champion, “Macho Man” Randy Savage died in a car accident in Tampa, Florida after he had a heart attack while driving and lost control of his car. His new wife Lynn was also a passenger in the car but she survived the accident.

The 58-year-old is survived by his brother Lanny Poffo, also a wrestling veteran by the name of “Leaping Lanny.”

The “Macho Man” will always be known for his leap off the top rope, his classic battles with Hulk Hogan and his interviews and on camera personality that transcended wrestling and got him roles in films and television.

Randy was a Slim Jim spokesperson that coined the phrase “Ohhhhh Yeaaaahh” and even had a brief stint as a rapper after winning over 20 belts in multiple federations in the ring.

We’re serious…check out the commercial for his album, Be A Man. We’ll miss you Randy.
