Back in 2008, Kanye West was reportedly developing a comedy for HBO (or vice versa) styled after Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. A pilot/demo of the show is online featuring Yeezy and actress Alison Quinn. Although it has its comedic moments, it’s not too hard to see why the show was never picked up.

Kanye West has blessed us again. The rapper/producer was heading into LAX when a talkative paparazzo tried to engage him in conversation. Wrong move, buddy.

When it’s all said and done, Yeezus will be marked by its minimalism. The lyrics were raw. The beats were stripped down. Kanye West deferred from a typical marketing strategy. It even lacked proper album art. However, the good folks at GQ had a remedy in mind for the cover—or the lack thereof.

Yesterday, the Internets received the first proper visual from Yeezus with “Black Skinhead” –or so we thought. Less than 24 hours later, Kanye West returned to Twitter with claims that what the public saw was an unfortunate leak.

Now that “Black Skinhead” has been deemed the first official single from Yeezus, Kanye West returns with its highly anticipated accompanying visual. Spoiler alert: it’s, um, very interesting to say the least.

At times, Kanye West‘s candid interview with W magazine rivaled some of his most egomaniacal moments of all time. However, it also revealed the Chicago rapper’s plans to debut a “capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies for a hip French brand,” which we now know to be A.P.C.

First it was Kanye West with Yeezus. Then it was Jay-Z with Magna Carta Holy Grail. Does that mean the next project in this logical progression is Yeezy and Hova’s reunion album, Watch The Throne 2?

Yeezus was an album marked by ambiguity and unprecedented promotional tactics. With the LP currently in stores, this all changes — perhaps as a result of a less than Kanye West-like performance on the charts — with reports from Billboard’s The Juice saying “Black Skinhead” will be the project’s official single.

Thirty years in, and Rick Rubin aka DJ Double R is still a giant in Hip-Hop music. In a new interview, the Def Jam founder reveals just how daunting the task of molding Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, really was and he also hints at there being a sequel to the project.

Kanye West’s Yeezus album will top the album sales chart this week, but not by much. J. Cole came in a close second with his sophomore album, Born Sinner, while Mac Miller also made a strong debut with his Watching Movies With The Sound Off project.
