Kendrick Lamar had his rounds throughout New York City last night (January 28). After hitting the stage with J. Cole at Madison Square Garden Theater, the Compton rapper traveled a few blocks to surprise fans at a Dom Kennedy and Skeme’s Get Home Safely tour concert at Irving Plaza.
Now this is a pleasant surprise and as good a way to kick off 2013 as any. Kendrick Lamar drops the video for “Backseat Freestyle” off of his critically acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d. city debut.
