DOOM, better known by the masses as MF DOOM, is still hailed as one of the best pure lyricists ever by most Hip-Hop fans. Although the metal-faced supervillain has been keeping a relatively low profile, DOOM promises a 2016 return to music along with a warning to those who might be doubting him.
Fans at Miami’s III Points Festival got one heck of a treat over the weekend when the joining of two larger-than-life performers took place. DOOM, formerly known as MF DOOM, joined Ghostface Killah onstage and rocked a few classic joints from his vast and celebrated catalog.
DOOM clearly sees/hears something special in teenaged rapper Bishop Nehru as the duo drop a new tune called “Caskets” that further confirms his ear for talent.
MF Doom has a ridiculous amount of intricate and beloved verse, so picking the 10 best isn’t very realistic. However, the former Zev Love X of KMD recently pontificated on 10 of those best verses himself, which considering how rare DOOM interviews are, was quite the coup.
Mark this day, April 29, 2013, since on it we receive a new DOOM record. “Bookfiend” is the name of the song and it is produced by New Jersey’s own Clams Casino.
