A 2019 probe into the city's water crisis has lead to a number of charges for up to 10 people related to the matter, including Synder.

It’s been four years since the bonehead decision by Michigan officials to switch the city of Flint’s water source from Lake Huron to the Flint River. The water from the lake was highly corrosive causing hazardous levels of lead to link into Flint’s water supply poisoning its residents.
