A Florida judge will hold a hearing today to discuss jury selection in George Zimmerman’s second degree murder trail. Earlier in the month, lawyers for Zimmerman unsuccessfully argued to have the trail date pushed back, which the judge found unnecessary.

During a hearing held on what would’ve been Trayvon Martin’s 18th birthday, lawyers for Zimmerman—who is accused of murdering the unarmed teen—were not allowed to push the June start date.

Lawyers for George Zimmerman filed a motion to delay the start of his second-degree murder trial Wednesday (Jan. 30), on grounds that they need more time to prepare. George Zimmerman has responded to the $27,027 lawsuit filed against him by a security company, with a claim that he’s the victim. According to the accused killer’s lawyer, the company –Associated Investigative Services—intentionally raised their prices, and in turn the “billing got out of hand.”

The 29-year-old, his wife, and lawyer are all being sued for $27,000 by security company, Associated Investigative Services for failing to cover their outstanding fee.
