At URL's NOME XI event this past weekend, Drizzy ran into his potential battle rap foe in Murda Mook backstage at the event.

The biggest news of the day, for many, was YesJulz attempting to come for Scottie Beam and Karen Civil, failing. While Twitter quickly dragged the culture vulture, part of the collateral damage was rapper Murda Mook getting called for what many considered to be coonish behavior.

With all the constant whirlwind news surrounding Drake, it’s easy to forget that there was supposed to be a Drake Vs Murda Mook rap battle taking place in the near future.

Rapper Murda Mook is battle tested. Known for his tactical approach during toe to toe bouts with other MCs, Hip-Hop Wired asked the wordsmith, while on the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards green carpet, to share his thoughts on Drake challenging him to battle.

It’s no secret that rappers can get start feeling themselves when they are caught up in the moment, and such is the case with Drake allegedly challenging Murda Mook to a battle when the two came face-to-face in the club.
