MTV2’s Red, Wild ‘N Blue Weekend is about to kick off and will feature the premieres of two shows, Wild N’ Out and Ain’t That America, starring Nick Cannon and Lil Duval, respectively. Over the holiday weekend, Nick and Duval will be chiming in with the “Summer News.”
Yeezus has not forsaken you, sneakerheads. Kanye West will be giving away 50 pairs of his highly coveted Nike Air Yeezy 2 signature sneakers in the new red colorway.
The Nike Air Yeezy 2 was easily the most hypebeasted shoe not called the Galaxy Foamposite when it dropped last year. Only a pair of colors were initially released, but a potential third official colorway may be on the horizon.
The sales projections are in for T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head release, and the Atlanta native is expected to do around 175,000. According to Hits Daily Double, Tip will come in between 150,000-175,000, while the week’s other rap release, Chief Keef’s Finally Rich, will sell 50,000-55,000 copies over the next several days.
The Game’s fifth studio album, Jesus Piece, took the No. 6 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 album charts, selling 86,000 copies in a week. The Compton rapper was defeated by Taylor Swift who maintained her No. 1 spot with her Red album moving an additional 208,000 copies. The release went double platinum in a month.
