M.O.P. To Release The "Foundation"
After signing with Roc-A-Fella records and later G-Unit and still not releasing an album, Brooklyn's thoroughest M.O.P. will finally release their long awaited album this fall. Inking a deal with E1 Music (Koch), Lil' Fame and Billy Danze's new release will be entitled Foundation. The album will feature collaborations with Busta Rhymes, Beanie Siegel, Redman and Styles P, among others.
Currently narrowing down selections from over 4-dozen newly recorded songs, the first single will be “Blow The Horns” which features Busta. Speaking of their new deal and album, Billy Danze said, “Thanks to Alan for believing in us and allowing us to do our thing. This is a big thing for us and a big thing for Hip-hop. Right now, Hip-Hop needs M.O.P. It needs the Foundation.”
E1 Music General Manager also commented on his respect for Mash Out Posse. He added, “M.O.P. is one of the greatest Hip-Hop groups of all time. I was fortunate to sign them when I was running Relativity and am thrilled to be working with Billy, Fame and Laze again.”
