Rap newcomer Charles Hamilton has been reportedly dropped from Interscope Records. Never heard of him? Well, it seems the young Harlem native’s career may have imploded. Despite getting signed to Interscope through Pharrell’s Star Trak imprint, so called hipster rapper C Ham has gotten into one fiasco after another. No word on why Interscope Records may have dropped him, but it might have something to do with this…

Fail: Blaming fellow Interscope artist and blogger Soulja Boy Tell Em for lack of hipster rap appeal in the mainstream in an alleged psuedo beef online. Soulja Boy laid him out though on the Internet.

Fail: Losing to his own fan in a rap battle on the Internet.

Fail: Getting chin checked by a girl he said he had unprotected sex with during a freestyle, while standing right in front of her …on the internet.

Fail: Wearing a Pink Panther doll on his arm during that freestyle on the Internet.

Epic Fail: Crediting legendary producer J Dilla as the executive producer of his album with the proceeds going to The J. Dilla Foundation.

4 Problems With That:

– Dilla is dead

– C Ham’s album was free on the Internet

– The J. Dilla Foundation isn’t real

– J. Dilla’s mom has no idea who Charles Hamilton is

– Oh yeah ALL of this played out on the Internet.

Charles Hamilton has had more fails than I’ve listed here. The thing is he had some promise though. Do you think he can come back from allegedly getting dropped by Interscope Records?
