B.G. To Release New Album
B.G.'s been missing on the music scene for years and is back to bring his city back to the forefront of Hip Hop. The former Hot Boy is releasing his Too Hood To Be Hollywood album, through a joint venture between media giants E1 Music, Chopper City and Atlantic Records. The album promises to give N'awlins Hip-Hop fans, craving his signature choppa city flow what they've missing.
The first single from the project is “Back To The Money” which tells the story of B. Gizzle's break from the rap game and features production from Oddz N Endz. Following that will be “My Hood” produced by longtime friend and Cash Money producer, Mannie Fresh.
The true originator of the term, ‘Bling Bling', B.G.'s overcome his own personal and professional issues to create his eleventh solo album. He expressed his excitement for the project in a press release saying:
“Sometimes I am denied my props but it's cool,” says B.G. “I am coming back and taking everything the game owes me. It doesn't owe me anything but respect. I'm still the hottest of the hot. At the end of the day, I just want the respect I truly deserve.”
The album features production from Scott Storch, KLC, Cool & Dre, Oddz n' Endz, Justice League and Salvage. Also featured on the album are T.I., Trey Songz, Yo Gotti, Young Jeezy, and Lil Boosie and his old Cash Money counterparts, Lil Wayne and Juvenile. Too Hood To Be Hollywood hits stores November 24.
