Climate Summit Patrons To Get Free Nookie During Visit

Ritt Bjerregaard, Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, is waging war against the city's prostitutes.

Hitting local sex workerswhere it hurts most, their pockets, Bjerregaard  is working in conjunction with members of city council in a very public effort to stop patrons attending the Climate Summit 09' to refrain from frequenting brothels or employing free standing sex workers.

The tandem has sent postcards asking local hotels and hostels to arrange contact between guests and prostitutes.

"Dear hotel owner, we would like to urge you not to arrange contacts between hotel guests and prostitute.”

In response, ladies of the night have vowed to give of themselves at no charge for any person visiting Denmark for the summit that has one of the postcards and their official ID card that allows access to the event.

"This is sheer discrimination. Ritt Bjerregaard is abusing her position as Lord Mayor in using her power to prevent us carrying out our perfectly legal job,” said Susanne Møller, spokeswoman for the Sex Workers Interest Group. “I don't understand how she can be allowed to contact people in this way but they've done it and we have to defend ourselves."

Needless to say, brothels are expected to be packed beyond capacity during the summit on climate change and how it can be curtailed.
