The Roots To Bring Back Their Annual 'Jam Session'
The legendary Roots are continuing in their realm of Hip-Hop with a cause and bringing back their popular ‘Jam Session' for a sixth year.
Taking place the night before the Grammy's, their annual ‘Jam Sessions' have been known to unite the band for impromptu jams with Snoop Dogg, Queen Latifah and Corinne Bailey Rae while being attended by Jay-Z, Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas.
The upcoming jam will partner with Green Music Group to shed light on the importance of “going green” to preserve the environment. The jam will also be co- presented by VIBE Lifestyle Network, celebrating the newly re-launched Vibe Magazine and Vibe.com.
In addition to the jam, they are also launching a logo design contest through their @RootsJamSession Twitter page.
Fans can enter by submitting a logo that incorporates the words “Roots”, “Jam” & “Session” and submitting it with the hashtag #RootsJam in a tweet to the Twitter page.
A winner will be selected and invited to attend the Jam Session which takes place January 30.
