Former NFL Star Warren Sapp Released From Jail After Domestic Abuse Arrest
Former Oakland Raiders player Warren Sapp may have just dodged a bullet as he has been released from jail on bond after being arrested in Miami Beach.
With a bond amounting to $1, 500, the former football star was detained on charges of domestic abused as he was accused of choking a woman while in his hotel room.
The incident occurred Saturday morning and Sapp was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery and would be released the following morning.
While investigation is being held on the matter, Sapp has been pulled by the network.
According to Christopher Lyon, Sapp's attorney, his client is choosing to take the case rather seriously and sends his apologies if his ongoing predicament had caused any distraction from the Super Bowl on Sunday and wants the fans to wait until the facts are released before making judgment.
It's probably a little too late for that, but it will be given heavy consideration.

My favorite part of this was Sapp's side of the story: "She fell on her knee." This kind of stuff pains a diehard Hurricanes fan (me)... And it happens way too often. Factor in Irvin, and I'd say it's been a rough week for the U.
Nice post. Here's what Sports Casualties says about it... Maybe a little controversial, but these guys seem to be in trouble a lot.
