“We are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career…”

LL Cool J is the latest victim of an attack by right wing news network FOX News.

As previously reported, LL slammed FOX for using an archived interview of him to promote former governor Sarah Palin’s new series “Real American Stories. “

According to L, the interview was used without his permission and with no connection to the upcoming program.

A spokesperson has since released a statement from the network saying that LL’s been conveniently removed from the special and threw in a slight diss at the rap royalty.

The spokesperson tells TVNewser,

“Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”

Fledgling acting career????

Touché FOX. That’s no way to talk to a rap legend.
