Gary Coleman's Funeral Plans Halted

This weekend's plans for the late actor Gary Coleman's funeral have been canceled.  Shannon  Price, Coleman's ex-wife and his estranged parents were in a bitter dispute over where the remains of Coleman's body were to be buried.  

Sue and Willie Coleman took legal action to have Coleman's remains laid at his Zion, Illinois  birthplace, instead of Shannon's  request that the body remains in Utah.

Coleman's parents later halted their burial plans after Coleman named Dion Mial as executor in Coleman's 1999 will. Mial is a former friend and manager of Coleman.

“Of course it's disappointing. We'd be inhuman if it wasn't, but we're not up for a fight," said Colemans mother Sue Coleman to The Associated Press.

Coleman died May 28th of a brain hemorrhage that was due to a fall.   Although Coleman and his ex Katie Price legally separated in August of 2008, Price had been legally authorized to make medical decisions on Coleman's behalf and had decided to take him off of life support after two days.

    The Parents of the late Actor Gary Colman should have the final say over when and where and what to do with there child body. They did bring the young man into the world, let them see him to his resting place. May the Grace of God be with The Colman Family......
