Faith Evans Arrested
The widow of Notorious B.I.G, Faith Evans, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The famed singer was released today after being taken into police custody at an L.A. area checkpoint.
Police say they detected alcohol before they arrested Evans ,37, on suspicion of misdemeanor drunk driving.
This is not the first time Evans has had a run-in with the law, she and her new spouse; Todd Russaw, were arrested in Atlanta in 2004 after being found with marijuana and cocaine.
The couple spent 13 weeks in rehab for the incident.
