Lil Boosie Claiming District Attorney Has Vendetta Against Him

Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie, who is set to go to trial on first degree murder charges, is claiming that the District Attorney in the case is unfairly out to take him down because he name dropped him in a song.

Now Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, and his lawyer have filed for a motion to have the D.A. removed from the case.

Boosie spit these bars just days before he was summoned in front of a grand jury, on the track, “F^ck Em All”

“F**k the D.A. and the lawyers/your racist A$$ is going to hell/You'll probably be dead when I come out of jail ya old b**ch/ Your d**k can't even get hard no more, b**ch you need to die/and the prosecutor's gay/I see that from a mile away”

Jason Williams, Boosie's lawyer, claims that East Baton Rogue Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III only filed for murder charges shortly after hearing the song and is using the rapper's freedom of speech against him.

“Mr. Moore learned of these disparaging comments and within 10 days of hearing these remarks, he prepared a case against Torrence Hatch to bring before a grand jury when the individuals actually responsible for this crime had been in custody for quite some time," says Williams.

Moore says their claims are unwarranted and only are only a cover up for the real matter at hand.

“He's calling me a racist. It (the criminal case against Hatch) has nothing to do with color," Moore tells The Advocate Newspaper. “The indictment had nothing to do with a song. It has to do with dead bodies and victims."

Lil Boosie is being held on a first-degree murder charge for his alleged role in the shooting death of Terry Boyd.

He could face the death penalty if found guilty.

A state judge is scheduled to rule on the motion on June 22.
