Man Sues Rapper Beanie Sigel for Concert Shooting

Philadelphia emcee, Dwight “Beanie Sigel” Grant, was sued in County Court by a man who says he was shot in the chest while attending a birthday celebration for the rapper back in 2009.

Tyheem Baker was shot outside of the restrooms at Club Solo at the “Beanie Sigel & Friends Birthday Celebration.”

Baker claims that his shooter had a history of violence and that Club Solo should have searched the shooter for weapons. Not only is the victim filing against Beans and the venue, he is going after Clear Channel and local Philly radio station, WUSL Power 99 FM, the promoters of the event.

Tyheem is seeking $50,000 from the defendants, and also wants his medical bills paid.

Although the details about the shooting are unknown, is it fair to sue the club, rapper and promoters for an altercation?
