Legendary NY DJ Funkmaster Flex took to the radio last night to defend his friend and co-worker DJ Mr. Cee.
As previously reported, Cee was arrested last Wednesday for public lewdness and exposure of a person after reportedly being caught receiving service from a male prostitute.
On Monday, the “Breakfast Club” of rival station Power 105.1 taunted the DJ and named him the “Donkey Of The Day” for his misfortune.
An obviously upset Funkmaster Flex later took the mic at Hot 97 to address the situation and sent subliminal shots at the rival staff.
After dropping several bombs, an irate Funk Flex seemed to issue a warning that he was ready to expose a Power 105 employee.
“I will lose a friendship today, I know everything that goes on in that building!
I know everything that moves in that building, I know what people like and don’t like that are on the mic and off the mic and you all y’all over there know exactly what I’m talking about.
I will lose a friendship because I stand next to this logo!!!”
He also added,
“You wanna go? You make sure you’re ready to go, you make sure you’re ready to move that’s one thing. …It’s not my fault you can’t get hot, this radio thing I’m built for it. Unfortunately you’re not…Make sure you think if you wanna go!”
