Game Gets "R.E.D. Album" Release Date
Game R.E.D Album Release Date
Don't hold your breath, but Game may finally have a release date for his long overdue R.E.D. Album.
On Tuesday, the Compton MC hit twitter to announce his album will be in stores on August 23.
“#alliwantis for my fans to know that the R.E.D. album will be in-stores AUGUST 23rd !!! Thanks for the continuous love & support. Just got off a conference call with Jimmy Iovine & @interscope . Aug 23rd is the release date & it's like a FAT GIRL….. It won't move !,” Game tweeted.
Before anyone jumps out the window, do remember The R.E.D. Album has faced a series of delays over the last two years, so fans of the West Coast rapper better pray that the August 23rd release date sticks.
The video for The R.E.D. Album's lead single, "Red Nation" featuring Lil Wayne, was banned last week by BET and MTV.
The rapper subsequently released the video online through Youtube.
Game's last album, LAX, was released in August of 2008.
