Shaq Announces Retirement From Basketball

Shaq broke the news on Twitter late Wednesday that he’s set to retire from the NBA after 19 years of playing.

In it, the 39-year-old Boston Celtic told his fans,

“We did it. Nineteen years baby. I want to thank you very much, that’s why I’m telling you first, I’m about to retire. Thank you, talk to you soon.”
