Cops Who Killed Sean Bell Will Face NYPD Disciplinary Trial
In the high profile case of Sean Bell's death reported here, Detectives Michael Oliver and Gescard Isnora were acquitted in 2008 of manslaughter, while Detective Marc Cooper was acquitted of reckless endangerment for shooting the young man outside a club.
The three detectives will appear this morning in the fourth-floor trial room at Police Headquarters but there have been no details given about the disciplinary action that will be handed out.
Their Lt. Gary Napoli, will also be on trial as well for failing to supervise although he did not face any criminal charges.
