If anyone wants to know T.I.’s whereabouts after the Atlanta rapper was released from an Arkansas prison this week, transported to an Atlanta halfway house, only to be removed from the halfway house and back in federal custody; according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, Clifford “T.I.” Harris is in the United States Penitentiary in Atlanta, GA.

According to the site, T.I.’s release date is now scheduled for September 29th from the USP in Atlanta, which “houses medium security male inmates and has a detention center for pre-trial and holdover inmates and a satellite camp for minimum security male inmates.”

According to the Associated Press, T.I.’s lawyer Steve Sadow, an issue involving his client’s transportation from Arkansas to Atlanta is what landed the rapper back in federal prison.

“The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) appears to have an issue with the circumstances surrounding T.I.’s transportation from Arkansas to Atlanta,” Sadow said on Friday.

“T.I. got on a private bus in the prison’s parking area in full view of BOP employees. Indeed, he was actually escorted to the bus by a prison guard.”

Sadow said Friday there was never any intent to mislead or misstate T.I.’s method of transportation, and he hopes the issue can be cleared up quickly so T.I. can return to the halfway house.

Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman Chris Burke said on Friday he couldn’t discuss why the rapper was transferred back to a prison.

I guess that private bus, caravan of homies and a VH1 camera crew waiting to transport T.I. from Arkansas to Atlanta wasn’t such a good idea.

Hold your head for one more month T.I., at least you’re not doing Boosie numbers.
