Vybz Kartel Denied Bail
Vybz Kartel has been denied bail after being accused in not one but two, murders in Jamaica.
As previously reported, the reggae star who made headlines after bleaching his skin, is currently in jail awaiting an October 26th hearing where he's expected to answer charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
Police in that case say he's responsible for the shooting death of Barrington “Bossie” Burton, a 27 year old businessman/promoter from a St. Catherine address.
Just weeks after those accusations he was once again named in a case, this time by Detectives from a Criminal Investigation Branch in Constant Spring, St. Andrew.
Now according to The Associated Press, Resident Magistrate Opal Smith has refused Kartel's bail.
He did not give a reason for his decision and Kartel's defense team has yet to comment.
