Ex-Bad Boy Rapper Loon Arrested On Drug Charges
Loon Arrested
A former Bad Boy records affiliate is facing jail time after being arrested on drug charges.
Loon, real name Chauncey Hawkins, was reportedly arrested in Brussels on heroin trafficking charges this week.
According to paper The Parlamento, officials used the 'Patriot Act' to extradite the rapper who previously converted to Islam and lived in Algeria with his family.
On November 22 however, he was extradited while on his way to give a lecture.
There are reports that the rapper was being watched by the DEA from 2006-2008.
Reps for Loon have yet to release a statement on the charges.
