Soulja Boy Says New, More Mature Album On The Way
Soulja Announces New LP
The third time around wasn't exactly a charm for Soulja Boy but the polarizing Atlanta rapper is hoping to turn some heads with his fourth LP.
SB recently announced that his fourth album entitled, Promise, will be delivered in the first quarter of 2012.
"Right now I'm working on my new album," he recently told The Boom Box. "It's called Promise -- my fourth album to release from Interscope Records. It'll be in stores top of 2012. I want everybody to support."
According to the SOD Money Gang head honcho, this fourth LP will show the advances he has made as an artist.
"[The album is] just really showing the growth and maturity of Soulja Boy," he added. "It's going to be dope. It's going to be lot of great records on it, a lot of dope features, a lot of great production. I want all my fans to check it out."
Soulja's last album, The DeAndre Way, sold only 13,000 copies in its first week on shelves when released last November. The album has sold little over 100,000 copies to date despite the first single "Pretty Boy Swag" moving over 1 million units.
