XXL Freshmen Candidates Speak OnTheir Nomination With Hip-Hop Wired

 

Last night I had the chance to speak with XXL Freshmen Candidates, Danny Brown, Phil Ade, A$AP Rocky,  & Iggy Azalea.  I asked them each 3 questions pertaining to their nominations.

 

Skoob:  How Does It Feel To Be Nominated For XXL's 2012 Freshmen Class?

Danny Brown:  I'm honored to be honest, but I feel like it was long overdue.  At the end of the day, I'm confident about it...I think I'll make it.  I ain't losin' sleep if I don't.

Skoob:  What would it mean to you to actually make the cover?

Danny Brown:  It's good, everybody just wants to be on the cover of a magazine.

 

Skoob:  If, When you make the Freshmen Cover, what are your plans for 2012?  How do you live up to the Hype?

Danny Brown:  Try to stay alive...Ha!
