Today, the King Center Archive has made available nearly a million documents associated with the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Notes and missives written the Civil Rights icon, including letters, telegrams, photos and speeches are easily searchable. The wealth of material, which includes documents such as a letter to John F. Kennedy asking that Thurgood Marshall be considered for the Supreme Court, offer more insight into King as a dedicated leader, father and man.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change ("The King Center") was established in 1968 by Coretta Scott King.
