Raekwon And GZA Will Not Appear In ODB Biopic

When the  Ol’ Dirty Bastard biopic, Dirty White Boy, debuts, don’t expect to see appearances from Raekwon or GZA. Star, Michael K. Williams revealed that the film’s producer doesn’t want to cast “any actors,” to play Wu-Tang members, but representatives for The Chef, and GZA have both said that they will not show up in the film.

Directed by Joaquin Baca-Asay, the film chronicles the relationship between ODB and his manager, Jarred Weisfeld. “This is definitely going to be a full-fledged, Hollywood movie,” Williams told The Breakfast Club, last month.“It’s only going to focus on the last two years of his life when he was released from prison up until the day he died.”

In preparation for the film,  Williams has met with the departed rapper’s mother, and other people close to him. No word yet on when the flick will be released.
