Note to rappers, if a song on your project is really good, it’s technically never too late to drop its video. Case in point, Top Dawg Entertainment’s ScHoolboy Q drops a video for  “There He Go,” from his Habits & Contradictions album, which dropped way back in January. That may be an eternity in today’s minute to minute musical landscape, but quality music still has staying power and replay value.

The Sounwave produced cut mostly dabbles in ScHoolboy lyrically discussing his rap fame, but he does mention an album many have been waiting on, besides new music from himself. “Word to Dr. Dre Detox is like a mix away,” he spits. Eh, he might have the inside track being signed to Aftermath Records and all that, but we won’t hold our breath on that one.

ScHoolboy Q is on the road right now as an opener for the Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller headlined Under The Influence Tour. Watch the David M. Helman directed video for “There He Go” after the break.
