Ras Kass provides some witty role reversal for a few of society's prevalent stereotypes in his visuals for "Sushi." According to the left coast MC, "Sushi stands for raw, real Hip-Hop culture. But shooting the video also allowed us to explore and flip stereotypes upside-down." There is even a nod to Caine and O-Dog's infamous convenience store encounter from Menace II Society. The visuals were directed by Rusty Rayburn.
"Sushi" is the first track from Ras Kass's forthcoming F.I.L.A. (F-ck It, Lose It All) LP, releasing through EMPIRE Distribution. If this track is the rubric for F.I.L.A., the Soul On Ice MC is still as deadly with the pen and pad work as ever. Check out the visuals after the jump.
