Brother Ali – “Mourning In America” [VIDEO]

The ever so eloquent Brother Ali poignantly expresses his views on an array of America’s societal issues in the visuals for “Mourning In America.” Garbed in either all black or full camo, the Rhymesayers MC speaks on behalf of some of our country’s chronically misrepresented demographics. Much kudos and praise go to director Todd Angkasuwan, who  visually captured the essence of Brother Ali’s words perfectly.

Mourning In America and Dreaming In Color drops September 18th and will be entirely produced by Jake One, the beatsmith behind Rick Ross’s “3 Kings” and Freeway’s The Stimulus Package. This will be Brother Ali’s fifth LP and the first since 2009’s highly lauded Us. Given the MC’s nature of slowly crafting quality projects, the wait should be worthwhile.
