Ricardo “Gunplay” Morales, who reported to a Miami jail for charges of armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault, was given a $150,000 bond and house arrest today.

“The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community,” said Gunplay’s attorney Michael Grieco. “He should be home with his family shortly. This is first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career.”

Footage of Gunplay recently surfaced of the Maybach Music Group rapper pulling a gun on his former accountant on April 13th. He stole a gold chain and a cell phone from Turron Woodside who was working at the Tax Place. He pistol-whipped the man several times in the head before threatening him with a handgun. Then, him and Jones fled the scene and drove off in black Chevy suburban.
