Pharrell has always been eclectic with who he lets into the studio, and the latest names on the guest list are no exception. The I Am Other mastermind, hit the studio Monday (Oct. 29) with Tyler the Creator, and former Disney-princess-turned-short-haired rebel, Miley Cyrus.

Skateboard P tweeted out a picture of the musical threesome, without any explanation as to what they were actually doing together. The parties involved did however throw a few compliments in each other’s direction, starting with  Pharrell, who was downright ecstatic over the Odd Future frontman’s Wolf album. “Yo @f-cktyler sh-t WOLF is amazing! Once again, I say goodnight to me,Too’s Blendinables and dittos. Individuality always wins. #OTHER”

Cyrus also got in on the love cipher by singing Pharrell’s praises.  “You can’t deny what @Pharrell and I have together. #LOVE=MAGIC #bigbrother4life.”

As it turns out Tyler and Cyrus weren’t always buddy, buddy. When the Hannah Montana star cut her hair off this summer, the ever outspoken Los Angeles native offered his critique, and it wasn’t pretty. “Hahahaha. She Was Like ‘Hey, i Wanna Do Something Different…..F-ck Me Up Real Quick,’” he tweeted. The 19-year-old responded with a quip about his face, and ended the diss with a note about loving for his music, which ended the Twitter beef.

Perhaps that stroke of Tyler’s ego laid the groundwork for a collaboration, or maybe they were just all bored in the studio.

Who knows.
