What would Valentine’s Day be without a new joint from Usher? On this day last year, the R&B singer dropped “Climax,” and for 2013, he’s re-teamed with Diple for “Go Missin.”
Ursh took to Twitter to give a special shout out to the ladies. “You loved what I gave you last Valentine’s #Climax So here is ‘Special delivery from the cloud’Happy Valentine’s Day!”
Like he’s done before, the 33-year-old finds himself coaxing a woman out of the club, and into some freaky activity. “It’s so crowded up in here what you doin’ all alone?/And it’s so dark up in here, plus you ain’t even got your phone/What kind of man would ever wanna leave your side?/Shame on him, you comin’ home wit’ me tonight.”
To make a sonic comparison to “Climax,” Usher’s latest isn’t as clever or appealing, but a good offering nonetheless. And for all the ladies imagining that Usher could potentially roll up on them in a club and ask them to “Go Missin,” this joint will definitely help them keep hope alive.
