Travi$ Scott gave fans insight about his creative mind in previously released visuals, and he does it again with “Uptown,” a song from his Owl Pharaoh mixtape featuring A$AP Ferg.
As inebriation kicks in, the young rapper finds himself traveling through a crazy world unscathed, as seemingly everything breaks down around him. Scott accentuates the cinematic clip for the ominous track with an equally dark ambiance.
Young Fegenstein enters the fold spitting a villainous verse towards the end of the track as a literal talking head.
The G.O.O.D. Music/Hustle Gang affiliate directed the treatment himself, as per usual. It clocks in at a lengthy eight minutes, by the way. Scott is currently making his rounds on select dates of the Yeezus tour.
