Mike Epps allegedly let the struggle of his feud with Kevin Hart get the best of his nerves and he resorted to combating jokes with violence.

TMZ is reporting that the Atlanta Police Department is investigating a Saturday, May 31 incident at Uptown Comedy Center on 800 Marietta St NW. Comedian Lavar Walker told police that Epps wanted to have “a few words” with him outside of the club and when he obliged, he caught a vicious fade to the dome by Epps, which was followed by more attacks by two men who were accompanying Epps.

The reason for the attack is said to be due to Walker’s Instagram spoof of the Kevin Hart/Mike Epps beef where he imitated both actor’s vocals and appeared with a white substance on his nose and mouth, playing into the rumors that Epps’ comedic decline is stemming from drug abuse.

Following the attack, Walker was transported to a nearby hospital. The APD has since issued a warrant for Epps’ arrest and Walker’s injuries are very real. A photo surfaced with him sporting a huge gash on his forehead. Epps’ alleged history of violence continues to darken his path. He was accused of socking a woman in the face in May 2014 but no formal charges came out of the ordeal, however.

Walker and Hart have a unique friendship. In 2012, Walker was the winner of Hart-hosted 2012 Miller Lite Comedy Competition in Las Vegas and has since been able to pay the bills with his own particular brand of funny.
