It’s much too early to ordain East Flatbush rapper, Bobby Shmurda, the hope of New York City, but it’s fair to say that his charisma (and a jiggy dance to boot) has warranted him some big attention. For starters, Meek Mill flew the entire GS9 clique out to Miami over the holiday weekend to perform their scorching hot record, “Hot Ni**a,” at King of Diamonds.

Shmurda’s gritty style of visuals have many Rap purveyors aesthetically likening GS9 to Chicago’s GBE, which is majorly represented by the polarizing Chief Keef. But he’s truthfully a lot closer to Meek in sonic preference (“Ima Boss” producer Jahlil Beats originally made the “Hot Ni**a” beat for Lloyd Banks). That said, the bubbling spitter relished in the moment on stage with his partners in rhyme as camera phones captured the moment.

Again, the verdict is still out on Bobby Shmurda and GS9, as the young upstart still have a lot to prove. However, their current wave (or dance) cannot be denied at the moment. See proof in the footage below.
