A meeting with “like minded” entrepreneurs and community service gone left rounded out the key themes this week on Survivor’s Remorse.
Big Sister M-Chuck
As part of her community service for punching Cam in the face, Mary Charles not only has to clean trash on highways, she enrolled in a Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. She arrives for day 1 late, and the program director expresses her disdain for M-Chuck’s tardiness. The director only wants people there who want to be there, and despite M-Chuck’s enthusiasm to help, she’s not moved. She introduces M-Chuck to her new little sister Brittany, who’s 12 and about 8 months pregnant! Has M-Chuck bit off more than she can chew?
Speaking with Brittany, M-Chuck discovers that one of 3 pre-teen boys is potentially the father of Brittany’s child… or possibly God via immaculate conception. Brittany explains that people told her having a baby is difficult, and some want her to give it away for adoption, but she wants to keep it. M-Chuck offers Brittany and her potential baby daddy’s some donuts while contemplating how to be a good Big Sister.
