Wale’s work ethic is not to be messed with. Even though he’s dropped a new mixtape, and is prepping the release of album No. 3, its only fitting that he unleash a video for “No Days Off,” from his gold-plus selling album, Ambition.

In the video, Folarin uses tour footage to provide a visual representation of the track. Lots of musicians–including those in the Maybach Music Family–have lifted the veil behind their shows giving fans a first-person viewpoint of life amid a hectic tour scheduling, and what goes into making a great production, but this concept couldn’t be  more fitting for Wale. The album’s title alone reveals how personal the project is.  “I wanna give my fans a reason to brag now like, ‘Yo, this is what I like Wale the most,’ the rapper told Hip-Hop DX in 2011.  “A lot of ni**as is nice, I’m just tryin’ to take it up a notch. I’m working vigorously. I’m mentally getting right. Working out, getting physically right. Reading more, I’m back to the old me. The vigor that I had with 100 Miles & Running is like, all over the album, it’s the best music I’ve ever made in my life and I mean that.”

Based on the positive reception that Ambition received, he definitely achieves his goal, and as the D.C. native spits on DJ Toomp-produced track, “When you’re reachin’ your dreams, you got reason to brag.”
