After the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Redskins 59-28 on Monday Night Football, Owens took to twitter to roast Mcnabb and kick him while he was down.
“How do u justify a 78 million dollar contract w/this type of performance?”
McNabb and the Redskins agreed to a contract extension before the game on Monday night, which is worth $78 million with $40 million in guaranteed money. Mcnabb however would not let the comment slide, as he added the comment to ESPN
“It’s unbelievable how they can comment on what I’m doing over here?”
McNabb also said Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer makes more money than he does and cited the Bengals’ 2-7 record. This is not the first time Terrell Owens has had outspoken comments about Mcnabb.
After Donovan McNabb was benched against the Detroit Lions on Oct. 31, Owens ripped him on “The T.Ocho Show,” suggesting that McNabb couldn’t run the two-minute offense when they were together.
