Righteous rapper Jasiri X drops a new record called “Who’s Illegal?” featuring Rhymefest, a civil rights enthusiast who once ran for Alderman of the 20th ward in Chicago. X and ‘Fest take listeners/viewers on a trip down to both Arizona and Alabama, where unrest exists over two anti-immigration bills being passed in the respective states, with this Paradise Gray directed video.

The purpose for the MC’s visit stems from their inquisitive natures to witness first hand how the unfair legislation has divided family structures and communities that have existed for decades. “Who’s Illegal” raises a thought-provoking point worthy of attention by those who choose to view the visual. “You ain’t cross the border, the border’s up in y’all hood,” spits ‘Fest, pointing to the irony of stolen land being divided.

This video is SURE to flare up some form of emotions, which should lead to very interesting conversation. Let us know what you think.
