At the end of the day, Florida needs to get their voting struggle under control. Nevertheless, Mitt Romney’s Presidential campaign has finally conceded that Barack Obama has won the vote in the Sunshine State, and its 29 electoral votes.

“The numbers in Florida show this was winnable,” Brett Doster, Florida advisor for Romney told the  Miami Herald in a statement. “We thought based on our polling and range of organization that we had done what we needed to win. Obviously, we didn’t, and for that I and every other operative in Florida has a sick feeling that we left something on the table. I can assure you this won’t happen again.”

Oh well, maybe next time.

Although Obama’s lead in Florida is minimal (Obama led by only 55,832 votes, or a 49.9 percent to 49.24 percent margin), there aren’t enough votes yet to be tallied for Romney to win. Percentage wise, even when Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Duval County’s absentee ballots are counted, Obama would still be in the lead.

Not bad considering various attempts to stifle citizens most likely to vote for Obama from actually voting.

Obama’s total number of electoral votes was 332, versus Romney’s 206. The final results for Florida won’t be certified until November 20.
