It was all pink everything at the launch of Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday fragrance in New York City Tuesday (Nov. 20).
Minaj wore a pink wig, suit, and shoes, to the event, held at Macy’s in the Queens Center Mall.”Had a blast @ my fragrance singing. Thank u guys so much for coming out!!!!!! Queens baby!!!!!!,” she tweeted after the meet-and-greet.
Going back to her hometown was a big opportunity for the Young Money rapper, who launched the fragrance in Manhattan last month. “To come to Queens, and do it in my hometown, that’s going to be amazing,” she told Ryan Seacrest.
In between promotional appearances, the 29-year-old also clocked a little volunteer time. She handed out Turkeys at her old elementary school ,P.S. 45, in Queens. The charity giveaway was a collaboration with Hot 97’s Hip Hop Has Heart Foundation, and was attended by more than 600 people.
Her Pink Friday fragrance and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded the Re-Up album are both in stores now.
